Panoramic Images
There are two main types of Panoramic images and both are represented here. The first kind is a single image taken with a very wide lensed camera. This is a flat field panorama with little distortion. The other kind is a series if images that have been stitched together, in a computer, using specialist software. These, because they are taken by looking a number of in different directions, experience some horizontal curvilinear distortion. This is a bending of the straight lines closest to the camera but is not always a problem unless there are regular shaped objects close to the lens. All will become clear as you look inside.
