A Modern Boho Romance

Modern and vintage co-exist in this amazing shoot! #stylinggoals

When it comes to making a choice for your wedding theme and style it seems that today in the wedding world styles can collide. Modern and vintage can co-exist! #stylinggoals This was the idea behind the boho shoot by hair makeup artist Kimberly Holland combining two styles to create this Modern Boho romantic look at The Orangery Mount Edgcumbe

"The ‘boho’ feel continues to be so popular and I wanted to show this look using a modern dress and a vintage one. The new dresses that emulate the boho/romantic look seem to take their inspiration from designs popular in the '70s. Frocks and Frills lent us a dress that had a modern boho feel and then we were also able to use a dress and lace cape with a hood, made and worn in the early '70s. The vintage dress is my mums and actually isn’t a dress at all but a jumpsuit that has really wide legs! My mum had it made from a vogue pattern."

The bridal jumpsuit

This trend isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and it's becoming the top choice for the modern fuss-free bride on her big day. A wedding jumpsuit is sure to make a statement, plus ladies it's something you will be able to wear again and again even after the big day.

The flowers by Floren Studio were purposely kept natural and wild giving the impression they had been gathered from the garden that day.
